ARTIST STATEMENT

Cindy Brinker is a Mid-Atlantic artist who transforms her dreams and observations into abstract works of art. Through dedicated research and practice, she has developed a unique, distinctive style that is all her own - vibrant, bold and colorful.

"I enjoy experimenting with different methods of paint application, exploring the relationship between color and the way color is applied to the canvas or other support. Through my research and experimentation with various techniques, I work towards mastering the vibration of color upon canvas."

BIOGRAPHY

Cindy began her artistic experiments as a child and sold her first "masterpiece" at age 12. As a senior in high school, she was invited to participate in the Rittenhouse Square Arts Festival in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Currently a fine art undergraduate at the University of Delaware, she remains committed to exploring artistic ideas through extensive research and formal instruction.
